Police in Galveston, Texas, have release a composite rendering of a young girl who was found abandoned in a Sterilite storage container on a small, isolated island in the Gulf of Mexico, along Texas' coast.
Sure, a child was left dead--or to die--in this container, but the artist's rendering is superfluous, at best.
The child I see in this composite sketch is someone who is about to be fitted for a mask for an on-set take in The Planet of the Apes, or a very young child who has undergone extensively botched plastic surgery and now uses copious amounts of supermarket make-up, like Maybelline, to hide the shame.
It is almost as if the artist were going for a caricature, rather than a likeness. It makes her look monstrous. They should have done better!
