It is possible to convict someone of murder without an actual body, which has been pointed out by a prosecutor in Aruba, who is investigating the Natalie Holloway case. It is possible under English common law, as well, considering you have a mountain of forensic evidence, such as the murder weapon laced with the victim's blood and with the suspect's fingerprints all over it, a videotape showing the actual act, or a credible witness who can testify to such an act.
Even in Aruba, under liberal Dutch law, you cannot do it by pulling it out of your hat, like a rabbit.
The prosecutor's last-best-hope is that one of the suspects turns "state's evidence" against the other two, or at least one.
