Bill Clinton was heralded and detested for his confession of having used marijuana in his early life during the 1992 presidential election.
Senator Barack Obama has taken a page from Bill Clinton's book, seemingly, and admitted that as a "young man" he experimented with marijuana. In what must be an attempt to take one step beyond Clinton's confession, he admitted that he inhaled the marijuana smoke, which--according to Obama--"was the point" of smoking dope.
I'm not sure that admitting to smoking dope is the same as saving the rainforest, but I suppose it depends on your personal values.
