Mukasey is carbon copy of Gonzales

Nominee for attorney general, Michael Mukasey, is a carbon copy of former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Mukasey is simply going forward with the work that Gonzales started, under the tutelage of George W. Bush. In all honesty, if Bush was going to find a clone of his former attorney general, then why push for his resignation?

As always, Bush thinks that Americans are pretty dumb when it comes to politics. He believes that he can simply change the mask on his policies and no one will be wiser as to what he has done.

Think again!

In another disgusting move, it appears as if the Senate Judiciary Committee is going to send Mukasey's nomination to the floor of the Senate for a vote. I have no idea why Democrats on the Judiciary Committee would vote for Mukasey. I believe the majority of Americans, in 2006, voted to send Democrats to Congress in hopes that they would act as Bush's Dr. Jekyll, or alter-ego. Instead, like the Republican-majority before them, they seem to piss themselves when he calls for their support.
