Richard Roberts, the embattled Oral Roberts University president, tenured his resignation to the school's board of regents yesterday.
I am guessing that a back-room deal was hatched to spare him and his family any further investigation and/or prosecution in the matter, which saw multiple misuses of the university's monies. The board of regents may have promised him the presidency again in the future, once the black clouds of the current storm blow away into the sunset, of course.
