U.S. withdraws from Iraq

After almost 9 years in Iraq, the United States military has finally withdrawn from the country. Even after nine years, I'm still trying to figure out why were there in the first place. The only concrete thing I can put my finger on is its cost: 4,500 American lives and $800+ billion.

South Korea reports that North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Il, has died.

Healthcare

The CDC reports that about 2.5 million more Americans now have health insurance because of what Republicans have termed "Obamacare."

I say if there are 2,500,000 people (and young people, too) who now have access to decent healthcare insurance, then Obamacare is a perfectly acceptable program in my book!
