The White House lambasted its political cronies in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for staging a fabricated news conference.
Obviously, the agency's leadership thought it was a capital idea to act as if they were reporters and interview their own people about FEMA's response to the California wildfires. They posed very tender questions about the disaster to the interviewees.
The White House stated that it showed poor planning on the part of the disastrous disaster relief agency. The interview of Vice Admiral Harvey Johnson, who is the deputy director of FEMA, should have consisted of an independent reporter asking questions, according to the White House.
