James Carville set his eyes on a high prize, the office of president, of course. The former Bill Clinton top advisor put his money on a Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush showdown.
That is certainly one contest I had not considered.
Although, it may sound a tad absurd, it may be feasible. Even though, former Florida governor Jeb Bush hasn't shown interest in running for the presidency, it cannot be completely ruled out.
Even if he does decide to run, he stands no chance against Hillary. Besides, I think first brother, Jeb, has more sense than to do it. The name Bush is not exactly the most popular last name in American politics at the moment. He would have more than his fair share of baggage, after the 2001 presidential election debacle that plagued his adopted state, his brother's private, bloody war in Iraq, and America's continual dwindling international support and respect.
So, thankfully, there will be no member of the Bush family in the 2008 presidential election.
