Mammoth Discovery

The well-preserved remains of a baby female mammoth were recovered from the permafrost of Siberia.

Like previous mammoth discoveries, scientists hope they can extract DNA from the preserved animal in order to better understand its genetic make-up, and perhaps create a clone.
