Supreme Court limits school districts' right to use racial factors

The United States Supreme Court ruled that school districts cannot simply consider the race of a student when assigning him/her to a school.

Chief Justice John Roberts (a Bush crony) stated that all factors of a student should be taken into account, besides race.

Basically, the Court ruled that racial factors are not paramount to integrating school districts, but they can be used in a limited way, such as securing the diversity of student population. I suppose something else like intelligence (duh!) should be taken into account, also.
