In an apparent attempt to usurp the jail situation for all it is worth, Paris Hilton has allegedly informed her lawyers to drop any appeals on her behalf. She has decided to stay in jail and serve out the sentence imposed by the judge last Friday.
On Friday, she seemed pretty adamant on being set free, by appealing the judge's ruling. I suppose she decided it is better for her private and public life (which seem blurred at most times) if she faces the proverbial music. In the end, she comes out looking like the bigger "man." Because, after all, it was a fight of wills between her money and the judge. He just comes out looking the bully who picks on little, rich girls.
