Yesterday, at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention, in Las Vegas, Barack Obama was confronted with the issue of his so-called "blackness."
He stated that there appears to be a problem, for a black candidate, if he or she can appeal to white people also.
The basic answer, according to Obama's response, is this is silly. Let's move on beyond the color of a person's skin.
I agree.
(On a lighter side, there are those that argue that no one can be as black, when it comes to politics, as Bill Clinton is.)
