Since being "elected" president, George W. Bush has not visited the state of Vermont.
It is the only state the president has not visited. For some reason, some people in Vermont are a bit hurt by this, even though he is well hated in their state.
This must be some sort of presidential fluke, considering Bill Clinton did not visit the state of Nebraska, until almost the end of his second term in office. Clinton finally went to say that he had, well, went. (Actually, he gave a speech at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.)
I wonder if Bush will do the same?
I envision if I didn't go to a state, it would be Alaska. It just seems so remote and cold, in my opinion.
