After more than five days since the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, we are are still receiving conflicting reports over the cause of her death. This type of conspiracy leads me to ask the government of Pakistan why they would deliberately mislead the world about the cause of her death.
The government's official line is that she ignored security concerns and as a result she suffered a fatal blow to her skull as it struck her car's sunroof, as she fell back into her vehicle, after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb. This line, however, is disputed by the hospital's report on her death and a new video that has surfaced showing that the former prime minister may have suffered at least one gunshot before falling into her vehicle. The video also shows that the police did not evacuate Bhutto's vehicle from the scene after the incident; instead, they allowed the mob to maintain its close proximity to her vehicle.
I have a feeling that this will be a point of contention for years to come, if they do not exhume the body and do a proper post-mortem.
