The 19-year-old son of Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has been elected by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) as its leader. Originally, according to Bhutto's will, the post of chairman of the PPP was to go to her husband, Asif Ali Zardari; however, he passed the position on to their son.
I have to wonder what Zardari is thinking after the tragic deaths of his grandfather, uncles, and his mother. I hope one thing is clear, which is you cannot allow the mob that close to you. Bhutto's car was swamped with supporters and sinister elements, while it crawled at a snail's pace. Perhaps, this election will not mark him, as it has so many others in his family.
