Barack Obama, who says he has won the Democratic Presidential Primary season, has been unable to seal the deal with voters, and more importantly the superdelegates.
If he is the winner, why is Hillary Clinton still running an impressive campaign and claiming after Florida and Michigan are seated she will hold the actual lead in popular votes and delegates? Also, you would figure that the superdelegates would flock to Obama's category en masse. But this hasn't happened.
Also, didn't Senator Obama say that the superdelegates should vote for the candidate that their constituents elected? I think he did, in fact. Now he says superdelegates may vote for any candidate they please. Case in point, naturally, is New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who is a superdelegate and supporter of Obama, despite the fact his state voted for Hillary Clinton. Why did Obama flip-flop on such an important issue?
Perhaps, Obama is not the candidate for president, after all. Actually, it might be up the voters of this country to decide who will be its next president, instead of the media and junior United States senator from Illinois.
Just like his exaggeration about his uncle liberating the hellish Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz, which turned out to be his great-uncle, who aided in the liberation of another concentration camp, Buchenwald. (Fortunately for him, it wasn't his crazy uncle, Jeremiah Wright, this time!)
