It would seem the Bush White House staffers have "mistakenly deleted" some very important e-mail communications regarding the firing of eight United States Attorneys, which has gone a long way to implicate the Justice Department; specifically, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez.
The White House allegedly has some top IT people working on the problem. I don't think it should be that difficult to recover deleted data, especially e-mails. They do it ever day in the corporate world, when it is time to fire someone for their blunders, like bidding on eBay.
The White House calls it a "screw up." I call it a "cover up."
