I have said the US has been doing a half-assed job in Iraq since the beginning. First of all, George Bush should never have been given carte blanche in Iraq. The United States military had no business being there from day one. It was a personal matter for George Bush, not one made in the national interest of our country.
We have two options in this war. The US can use all of its might to over-power the terrorists and insurgency. Otherwise, we might as well pack up tomorrow and pull out. Let the Iraqis fight their own civil war without any international interference.
