Two hundred twenty-nine years ago today, a few rebels stood defiant, in word and deed, against their colonial parent. Although, King George III recorded in his personal diary "nothing of significance happened today," he found out shortly that, indeed, something of significance did happen within his vast land empire.
So many, many years later will we, as the grandchildren of the Revolution, stand against another King George, a tyrant, bent on imperialism?
